My name is Mona Soldier Boy and I am Tohono O'odham and Chicano. Most of the outfits you will see on this site are made by me and my daughter Cheyenne. And now...I am very proud to say...my graddaughter Paige!
I have been making dance outfits for 31 years. This will be Cheyenne's third year making outfits for sale and Paiges first. I'm so happy that these skills are being passed on.
The first outfit I made was for my son Shawn when he decided to start Traditional Dancing. Then I begain making them for my friends and family and pretty soon other people were ordering them from me. I started selling them at Pow Wow's and now here I am on the World Wide Web. I can't believe I'm Nation Wide! I've sold outfits from Hawaii to New York, Alaska to Florida and even to Canada and Sweden! So I guess I am world wide!
I really enjoy making outfits. And to be able to make a living doing it is truly a blessing. I feel really proud when I see one of my outfits in the Dance Arena.
