This is a beautiful outfit that would be outstanding as a Wedding Dress or so special on the mother of the bride. This outfit would also be perfect to wear to an award ceremony, conference or any special occasion. The Jacket would look great with jeans or a more casual skirt too.
The outfit consists of a fringed wool Cavalry Style Jacket that I discovered at an up-scale consignment store. It is a gorgeous jacket! The Jacket is Double D Ranchwear Brand . It is made of maroon 50% wool amd 50% polyester fabric with pigsuede fringe on the shoulders. There are 4 rows of cowrie shells sewed across the front from shoulder to shoulder. The jacket has gold buttons on the front and gold braid trim and shells on the collar and cuffs.
To go with the Jacket I have made a long floor length Skirt of maroon dull satin fabric. The Skirt is A-line with gold trim and shells at the bottom to match the Jacket. The Skirt has elastic at the waist and is 39" long.
